HUSB381A is a new USB PD Source chip with integrated MOS in SOP8 package with CC1 and CC2 pins from Hynetek Semiconductor, supporting Captive Cable PD adapter and pure PD fast charger applications. The HUSB381A supports up to 20V5A 100W applications and supports wave soldering and red glue processes.
The HUSB381A supports 5 programmable FPDOs and 2 APDOs for PPS options. All PDOs are fully compliant with the PD3.1 Rev.1.8 specification. It integrates an N-MOSFET for power path from VBUS to VIN. In case of any fault triggering, the HUSB381A can shut down the power path immediately to protect the connected devices. The HUSB381A requires only 0.5 mA of operating current.
