USB Type-A fast charging chip with UFCS support and Over-temperature power reduction

Although USB Type-C ports have become common, USB Type-A ports are still widely used in fast charging technology, and the market has been pinning high hopes on “converged fast charging”. Therefore, in response to market and client demand, we have launched HUSB602, a UFCS-specific fast charging protocol chip with over-temperature power reduction function for USB Type-A ports.

Supports over-temperature power reduction

HUSB602 specially adds the intelligent over-temperature power reduction function, which can monitor the ambient temperature in real time through the NTC resistor, and when it exceeds the set temperature (the threshold temperature is determined by the NTC resistor selection), it will limit the power to 20W (which can be customized according to different requirements of customers).

Supports programmable constant power

HUSB602 also has the function of supporting programmable constant power. The constant power before and after power reduction can be set to support the commonly used power band (20W, 25W, 30W, 33W, etc., and can be customized if there are special power requirements). Users can flexibly set the charging power according to the specific requirements of different devices, realizing more accurate and efficient charging control. This not only improves the charging efficiency, but also further enhances the flexibility and practicality of the product.

Two package options

The HUSB602 is available in both SOP-8L and SOT23-6L package options. User convenience and system simplicity are fully considered in the design. The complexity and cost of system integration is reduced through minimal peripheral circuit design.
