Single-phase Critical Mode PFC Controller
The HP1016 is a constant-voltage transition-mode boost controller with Power Factor Correction (PFC). Constant on-time control enables high PF and low THD without a multiplier. The HP1016 drives the Boost converter in quasi-resonant mode for high efficiency and better EMI performance. Specially designed for fast start-up and reliable protection to meet safety requirements.
