Product Descriptions

HP3501 is a synchronous rectification controller designed for flyback topology, suitable for various fast chargers/adapters with medium and low power. It integrates synchronous rectification control logic and power MOSFETs to provide the simplest secondary-side synchronous rectification solution.HP3501 consumes only 250 μA of static current, effectively saving static power consumption in light load conditions. At the same time, its maximum switching frequency is up to 200 kHz, covering the common working frequency range of medium and low power applications.
The integrated power MOSFET has a low on-resistance of as low as 14 mΩ, while achieving ultra-fast detection and shutdown. Compared with diode rectification, HP3501 can effectively improve the overall efficiency of the system.HP3501 is capable of adapting to high-side and low-side applications, and can operate normally in both connection modes. The built-in power MOSFET automatically turns on when the current flows in the forward direction, and the chip's control logic automatically adapts to the different operating modes in the flyback mode, including QR/CCM/DCM, etc.
HP3501 is available in an SOP-8L package.
