HP3531 is a synchronous rectification controller designed for flyback topology, suitable for various fast chargers/adapters with medium and small power. It integrates synchronous rectification control logic and power MOSFETs to provide the simplest secondary-side synchronous rectification solution.HP3531 consumes only 250 μA of static current, effectively saving static power consumption in light load conditions. At the same time, its maximum switching frequency is up to 200 kHz, covering the common working frequency range of medium and small power applications.
HP3531 can drive power MOSFETs and achieve ultra-fast detection and shutdown. Compared with diode rectification, HP3531 can effectively improve the overall efficiency of the system.
HP3531 is capable of adapting to high-side and low-side applications, and can operate normally in both connection modes. The power MOSFET can automatically turn on when the current flows in the forward direction, and the chip's control logic can automatically adapt to the different operating modes of the flyback mode, including QR/CCM/DCM.
HP3531 is available in a SOT23-6L package.
