The HUSB382E is a high performance, high integration USB Type-C and USB Type-A Port controller. It integrates the VBUS power switches and current sensing resistors to save board space and BOM cost.When a single port is attached, the controller enables fast charging protocols such as USB PD or HVDCP.However, when both ports are connected simultaneously, it provides only a 5V output.The HUSB382E is a USB PD3.1 controller which supports 3 FPDOs and 2 APDOs with programmable current and voltage. Additionally, it is compatible with a range of charging protocols, including BC1.2 DCP, Apple 5V 2.4A, QC2.0/3.0/QC3+, AFC, FCP, and SCP, as well as PE1.1+/2.0.The HUSB382E integrates all essential protections, including Over voltage Protection (OVP), Under voltageProtection (UVP), Under voltage Lockout (UVLO), Overcurrent Protection (OCP), Fast OvercurrentProtection (FOCP), and Thermal Shut Down (TSD).It is available in ESOP-8L package.
