The HUSB380B is a high performance, high integration USB Type-C and PD controller. It integrates the VBUS power switch and current sensing resistor to save board space and BOM cost. The HUSB380B is a USB PD3.1 controller which supports 5 FPDOs and 2 APDOs with programmable current and voltage. Additionally, it is compatible with a range of charging protocols, including BC1.2 DCP, Apple 5V 2.4 A, QC2.0/3.0/QC3+, AFC, FCP, and SCP, as well as PE1.1+/2.0. The HUSB380B integrates all essential protections, including Over voltage Protection (OVP), Under voltage Protection (UVP), Under voltage Lockout (UVLO), Overcurrent Protection (OCP), Fast Overcurrent Protection (FOCP), and Thermal Shut Down (TSD). It is available in DFN3X3-10L and SOP-8L package.

The HUSB380B supports cascade functionality. It can be cascaded with other Hynetek protocol chips via the FC pin to enable multi-port intelligent power reduction when simultaneously plugged in. Alternatively, two HUSB380B devices can be cascaded to achieve fixed power allocation for dual Type-C ports, supporting various configurations such as:
Single-port 65W / Dual-port 45W+20W
Single-port 45W / Dual-port 25W+20W
